I am a current senior at the University of Cincinnati in the Carl H. Lindner Honors-PLUS Program. I am studying Finance to obtain my Bachelor of Arts in Finance in April 2014 and will be earning my Masters of Business Administration in April 2015.
Growing up in a family of Bearcats, I live and breathe UC. I have gotten involved in a wide array of campus - UC Varsity Sales Team, Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, University Honors Association, Student Government, ROAR Tour Guides - and even served as the Student Body Vice President this past year.
My life motto has always been "What you put into something is exactly what you are going to get out of it". I have applied this to all aspects of my life - relationships, family, academics, work, and extra curricular activities. Getting the most out of my college experience means giving back, which is why I am highly involved on campus. I am busy every single night of every single week. And I would not have it any other way.
My picture above (I'm the one in the red dress!) is a picture of my family because they are by far the most important thing in my life. I am the youngest of four and my three older siblings are my best friends, my role models, my world. They lead by example and are always striving to make me a better version of myself. I owe all of my accomplishments and successes to their love, support, and example.
So... Jaclyn Hyde in a nut shell? Charismatic, opportunity seeking, people-oriented, driven, optimistic, and a Bearcat, through and through.
